Yield to Life

World Class cyclist David Zabriskie has created a foundation "Yield To Life" to promote cycling as a healthy and environmentally-friendly lifestyle and ensure the safety of those who cycle. His goal is to prevent the senseless accidents that keep occurring between motorists and cyclists by heightening awareness, fostering respect, and strengthening understanding between and among all those who use the roads. Motorists and cyclists have equal rights to the road. Along with these rights go a duty and responsibility to do their respective share in providing safe passage for all. Cyclists of course need to follow all the applicable rules of the road, but they will always remain at a decided disadvantage without the protection that motor vehicles provide. All life on the road is precious.

Take a minute to ensure the safety of those around you. Look for cyclists. Expect to see cyclists. An extra moment of your time can prevent a tragedy. Join Amgen Cycling Club in supporting this foundation.
