2010 Amgen Cycling Team Cars Powered By Mazda

Thousand Oaks, CA - May 28, 2010 - Amgen Cycling Club is excited to announce its' new partnership with Mazda USA. Amgen Cycling Club has received two 2010 Mazda vehicles for use during the next 12 months for club related activities. The club has received one Mazda 5 as well as a CX-7 as part of this relationship.

These vehicles will primarily reside within the Thousand Oaks area but are available to approved club members and Amgen staff for use during this time. Mazda USA owns these vehicles and requires each driver to undergo a thorough DMV check prior to approval. At present, only 20 approved drivers are allowed to use the vehicles and no Ônon-approved' drivers will be allowed to operate them until approved. If club members that would like to use one of these vehicles for a club related activity, please keep in mind that you will need to go through the approval process. Plan accordingly as part of this process. We recommend planning at least a month in advance.

Team Car These vehicles are meant to be driven and they are available for any club member (with a great driving record)! Cycling is healthy, earth friendly activity and Mazda has embraced this concept. The club envisions using these vehicles at the Tour de Cure, Amgen Tour of California and Amgen California Coast Classic events during the next year.

The club will maintain strict policies regarding these vehicles and club management reserves the right to deny access to club members if they so choose. That said, we have cars! For more information on these vehicles, please contact club management.
