AMGEN-GIANT MASTERS ANNOUNCES 2009 ROSTER

Thousand Oaks, CA - February 15, 2009 - The Amgen-Giant Elite Masters Cycling Team is pleased to announce its' team roster for the 2009 season. Primarily a road team in 2008, the team seeks to expand upon the 78 victories, 160 top 3's and 310 top ten finishes with key additions in specific areas. The main focus for the team remains Masters Nationals in 2009, not only on the road but also the track.

Amgen-Giant 45+ returns most of its 2008 members, following up on 6 Masters Road and 2 Masters Track National Championships. Returning members are Thurlow Rogers, Wayne Stetina, Kent Bostick, Richard Meeker, Keith Ketterer (General Manager), Steve Strickler, Malcolm Hill, Ed Morris, Tom Doughty, Peter Sullivan, Kevin Cox, and Robert Neary. The team is also proud to announce the addition of track specialist Johnny Walsh to the team.

Amgen-Giant 35+ has a different look to it for the upcoming season and strives to be like the big brothers on the team. Joining members Gus Corona and Jerry Jayne (Team Founder) for 2009 are key additions Chris DeMarchi, Antony Galvan, Kirk Bausch, Gil Correa and recently retired BMC Pro Mike Sayers.
